There are two spiritual dangers in not owning a farm. One is the danger of supposing that breakfast comes from the grocery, and the other that heat comes from the furnace.

How It Works
Its Time You Know Exactly Where Your Food Comes From
Our Process
Coordinate up to four different buyers who want a whole, half or quarter animal,
Purchase the whole animal from a local rancher for a fair price,
Slaughter on-farm and butcher the carcass at our facility,
Dry age, freeze, and store on your behalf
Deliver right to your home
It’s that simple.
No middlemen. No BS. No stress.

Sustainable and Humane Slaughter:
At Alberta Farm To Table, we take steps to ensure livestock do not experience any stress prior to slaughter.
Second to interactions with predators, forceful interactions with humans such as in the process of transportation or handling in a kill facility is —without a doubt— the most stress any livestock animal will face. Ordering through Alberta Farm To Table is the only way to purchase meat from livestock that have not been trucked live and forcibly handled into a kill facility.
This is because we go directly to the farm and slaughter the old-fashioned way: with a headshot from a medium caliber rifle at an average distance of 40 yards.
This is the most humane and sustainable method of slaughter, producing meat with zero adrenaline and zero stress, just like it had been done for generations.
Dedication To Health and Safety:
The well-being of our customers is our number one priority. We take care to ensure that all meat is handled in a safe and sanitary way. All our meat is butchered in a completely state of the art facility built new in 2020 and handled by a Master Butcher.
Storage and Delivery:
We store your meat until you are ready for it at -20° C. When it’s time for you to receive your next shipment, we package it in an insulated box, using dry ice if necessary.
